In 1997 Jack and Hilary Cole decided to go out on their own and start a small, family owned and operated construction company. Jack already had a great deal of construction experience gained through years of working with his grandfather in his small family owned construction company and wanted to build something for his own family. It wasn’t an easy decision to walk away from a steady paycheck, but after Jack promised Hilary he would make $300 a week, she agreed and a business was born. Twenty years and many board, nails and hammers later, our current business, Cole Construction, LLC, a woman-owned small business, is currently a $10,000, 000+/yr revenue company with offices in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Denver, Colorado and Ocean City Maryland.

Over the years our business has become very diversified and we now operate both Commercial and Residential Divisions. Our residential work is located primarily in the DC and Delmarva regions while our commercial work is being done in all of our locations. The experience and dedication our team brings to each project allows us to always deliver a quality project no matter the size or scope of work. We have our name on the company letterhead and with that comes a sense of pride that drives us to always offer the best work and service available.

Although we have seen continued growth in the size of our company, we still and will always remain a family orientated business.
